Early Life and Career
Yung6ix was born on July 8th, 1989 in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He grew up in a family of four, with his mother being a businesswoman and his father a musician. Growing up, Yung6ix was heavily influenced by his father’s music and started writing his own lyrics at the age of 16.
Yung6ix started his professional music career in 2011 when he released his debut studio album, “Green Light Green”. The album features collaborations with several popular Nigerian artists, including MI Abaga and Naeto C.
Since then, Yung6ix has released several other albums and has collaborated with several popular Nigerian and international artists such as Wizkid, Davido, and Ycee.
