Aramide had her primary and secondary education in Lagos before she proceeded to the University of Jos, Plateau State, where she studied Political Science.

Career

Aramide started her career as a backup singer for artists like Sound Sultan and eLDee, but she got her big break in the music industry in 2015 with the release of her debut single, “Iwo Nikan”. The song received rave reviews and won her the Best Vocal Performance (Female) category at The Headies 2015.

Since then, Aramide has released several hit songs like “Funmi Lowo”, “Love Me”, and “Baba Abule”, which have earned her numerous awards and nominations, including the Best Female Artist in West Africa at the All Africa Music Awards 2019.
