Blaqbonez is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. Born Emeka Akumefule on January 29th, 1996, he hails from Lagos state, Nigeria. Blaqbonez started his music career as early as 2011, but it wasn’t until 2016 that he gained widespread recognition.

In 2016, Blaqbonez won the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award at the Nigerian Music Video Awards. He released his first EP, ‘CTAT (Cssette Tape and Tushi)’ in 2018 and followed it up with another EP, ‘Bad Boy Blaq’ later that same year.
Blaqbonez is also known for his collaborations with fellow Nigerian artists such as Wizkid, Davido, Falz, Ycee, and more. He’s released several singles, including ‘Play’, ‘Mamiwota’, ‘BBC’, and ‘Haba’.
