Born Oladipo Olamide Emmanuel on September 13, 1993, he hails from Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is popularly known for his hit singles “Able God” featuring Zlatan Ibile and Lil Kesh, “Eruku De” and “Shayo” among others.

Chinko Ekun grew up in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. He attended the primary school in his hometown after which he moved on to complete his secondary school education at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ondo.
Career
Chinko Ekun started his music career in 2011 while still in secondary school. He joined a rap group called “Dope Fantasy” which consisted of him, Davolee, Kabex, and others. In 2013, he rose to prominence after he won the “Olamide’s Who You Epp competition”.
In 2014, Chinko Ekun signed a record deal with YBNL Nation, a record label owned by Olamide. He released his first official single under the label, “Alejo Oran”. He went on to release other hit singles like “Emi Na Re”, “Lil Kesh” and “Bless Me”. He left YBNL Nation in 2018 to start his own record label, Tiger Music.
