Desmond Elliot was raised in a polygamous family in Lagos. He attended Air Force Primary School and St John’s College, both in Jos, Plateau State. He later went on to study Economics at Lagos State University. After completing his studies, Elliot worked in the banking sector for a few years before venturing into the entertainment industry.
Career in Nollywood
Desmond Elliot began his acting career in 1999 when he featured in the popular Nigerian soap opera “One Too Much.” He has since appeared in over 200 Nollywood movies, including “Reloaded,” “Ghetto Dreams,” “30 Days in Atlanta,” and “The Meeting.” Elliot has also directed and produced several movies, including “Reloaded,” “In the Cupboard,” and “The Place.”

Desmond Elliot joined politics in 2014 and ran for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the APC.
