Muhammadu Ndagana Educational Background & Personal Life
He attended Jebba Local Education Authority Primary School between 1967 – 1973 and proceeded to Government Technical College, Eyagi, Bida, where he obtained his City and Guilds Certificate in 1978.
He joined the Niger State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources August 17, 1978, rising to prominent roles in the ministry by dint of knowledge, expertise and hard work. In 1980, he went to Niger State College of Agriculture, Mokwa, where he undertook a National Diploma programme in General Agriculture.
A restless seeker of knowledge, he returned to the same college in 1998 to bag a Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Extension and Management.
After the course, he was promoted to the rank of Chief Agricultural Officer, and posted to Sahonrami, in Mashegu Local Government Area, where he inspired massive adoption of new agricultural techniques.Indeed, in his new role,he has put his background and experience at the service of his people, where he has become a strong voice of change for better farm management and practices in his area to improve rural incomes.
Muhammadu Ndagana Royal Title Career
Before his appointment, he had put in 35 years of service in the agric ministry, traversing the grassroots in Niger State, dealing with farmers and treating the challenges which blight agricultural productivity. Because of his many decades of association with the grassroots, during which he saw naked poverty, his passion and concern for the rural dwellers are beyond words. He retired August 31, 2013. Shortly after his appointment as Etsu Yankpa of Jebba, he paid homage to Etsu Nupe, Alh (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar, where he was officially introduced to the emir. On February 1, 2016, when he clock 3 years as Etsu Yankpa he was officially unveiled to his subjects at a colourful reception ceremony in Jebba. He is married, and blessed with children.
