Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed attended the prestigious Barewa College, Zaria, and later went on to study Law at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Political Career
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed started his political career as a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly in 1999. He was later appointed as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Kaduna State. In 2003, he was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Zaria Federal Constituency. He was re-elected in 2007 and 2011.
In 2015, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed contested for the position of Governor of Kaduna State but lost to Nasir El-Rufai. He was later appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kaduna State.
